How PoTayto Picks makes money

PoTayto Picks is free to read. We don't have any affiliate links yet. When we do, we'll label every one and we may earn a commission when you buy through it. It won't change the price you pay. When we do have them, affiliate links on our site will be marked in the code as sponsored (rel="sponsored"). We may use affiliate networks such as Commission Factory, Amazon Associates, Awin and CJ.

It doesn't change your price

Once we have affiliate links, you'll pay the same price whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer's pocket, not yours.

Our picks are our own

  • We choose deals and write guides on their merits. A retailer can't pay to change what we say.
  • If we don't have an affiliate deal with a store, we'll still mention it if it's a good option.
  • No paid placements unless clearly labelled. If we ever publish sponsored content or a paid spot, it will be marked "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership" at the top, not buried below.
  • We don't accept payment for reviews or testimonials.

Prices change — check the retailer

Prices, stock and offers change often and can differ by state, store and time. We don't list state-specific prices. Always check the final price and terms on the retailer's site before you buy.

Labels you'll see once we add deals

Label What it means
Last checked The date and time (Melbourne time) we last checked the deal ourselves.
Live Fare checked within the last 24 hours and still available when checked.
Unverified Fare not rechecked in the last 24 hours — it may have changed or gone.

Error fares can be pulled or cancelled by the airline at any time; book at your own risk and check the airline's terms.

Health and wellness content

We don't make health claims, don't promise results, and don't use paid or incentivised testimonials. Wellness content is general information only, not medical advice — talk to a GP or other qualified health professional. For pet medicines, ask your vet.
