Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it and we tell you.
1. How to tell us
Email hello@potaytopicks.com with the page link and what looks wrong. Typical things we want to hear about:
- a wrong fact, name or phone number
- a broken link or a retailer page that has changed
- a deal or fare that has ended but is still shown as available
- a missing or unclear affiliate disclosure
- anything on a wellness or mental health page that looks like a health claim
2. What we do
- We aim to read every message and check the claim against the retailer's or official source.
- We fix confirmed mistakes as soon as we can. We can't promise a set response time, but we move fastest on anything that could mislead a buyer, mislabel a fare, or affect someone's safety or wellbeing.
- If something isn't a mistake, we'll tell you why.
3. How we mark corrections
- Small fixes such as typos and broken links are fixed quietly.
- Changes to facts, advice or a deal are marked on the page with the word "Corrected", the date in Melbourne time, and what changed.
- A mistake that could have led someone to a bad decision gets a clear note at the top of the page for as long as it matters.
- If we take a page down, we'll say so rather than let the address go quietly blank where we can.
4. Fare and deal status isn't a correction
Fares and deals change by the hour. When we post them, our status labels (Live, Unverified, Expired) and the "Last checked" time will show that. A fare changing price or ending after we checked it isn't a mistake on our part, but we do want to know if a label looks wrong.
5. Complaints
If you're not happy with how we handled something, say so in the same email thread and we'll look again. For privacy matters, see our Privacy Policy.

If you have a problem with something you bought, contact the retailer first. You can also contact the ACCC or your state or territory consumer protection agency: https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/buying-products-and-services/consumer-rights-and-guarantees
